In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 217 Clause (1) of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has appointed 

1. Smt. Justice S. Ramathilagam. 
2. Smt. Justice R. Tharani 
3. Shri Justice P. Rajamanickam
4. Smt. Justice T. Krishnavalli
5. Shri Justice R. Pongiappan 
6. Smt Justice R. Hemalatha 

To be the Judges of the Madras High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
