Ronak Thakkar is currently an Associate at J. Sagar Associates, Mumbai. He graduated from Government Law College, Mumbai, and simultaneously earned his Company Secretary degree. His internships include Tata Motors Limited, P&C Legal and J. Sagar Associates, Mumbai. He has also completed a Diploma Course in Cyber Law from Asian School of Cyber Law, followed by the Advanced Certificate Course in Foreign Trade, International Business/Trade, Marketing and Dispute Resolution from the Indian Merchants’ Chamber
He is a corporate lawyer, 23 years old, currently working in Mumbai. He is passionate about law, live life with an open, accepting mindset and is always up for a high five.
His EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND.
He was blessed with a very good childhood and was fortunate to have caring and supportive parents. He was a last bencher at St. Pius X High School, an all-boys school.
School has been one of the best phases that he has lived through. He has learnt a lot, made many friends and it has definitely been the foundation stone to the positive attitude with which he stands in front of the world. About his educational qualification, He is a law graduate from Government Law College, Mumbai.
He is the first generation Superlawyer and also He does not have a surname that is well-established in the fraternity.
He did not plan his internships. As a part of his C.S. coursework, He had to do a compulsory internship for which he approached ICSI, his C.S. Institute to know how to go about the internships. Based on their guidance, he applied to companies and procured his first internship at Tata Motors Limited where he did a mix of corporate secretarial and legal work.
As he discovered that he is more inclined towards corporate and transactional legal work, he asked some of his friends to suggest good law firms where he can learn more. After doing a bit of research online, he was able to contact the H.R. departments of these firms and submit his resume for their consideration. That’s how he procured his internships at P&C Legal, Mumbai and J. Sagar Associates, Mumbai.
