In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the  Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has appointed

• Shri Justice Ajay Kumar Mittal, judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court

To be the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court with effect from 28th May, 2019.
