Are women not safe even while sleeping?

A complaint has been filed by two nurses against a man for allegedly recording a video while they were sleeping. The said incident took place at a PG in Sector-5 Gurugram where both the accused and the complainants reside.

The 30-year-old man was arrested on Monday after the complaint was filed by the nurses in the nearest police station. The accused was presented in the local court and was later granted bail. The PG owner has also been booked for charges of criminal conspiracy for failing to take any action against the man after a complaint was made to him by the nurses. The accused works in a private firm and the nurses are employed in a private hospital in the city.

It is alleged that the man recorded a video of the nurses while they were sleeping. They raised an alarm when they saw a man standing at the window at around 2 am after which the accused ran away.

Later, the nurses complained the PG owner in the morning but the owner ignored them and no action was taken from his side. Therefore, they finally approached the police to take adequate action against the accused in order to safeguard themselves.

The police said that the accused has confessed his crime of recording a video while the nurses were not awake but also claims that he has already deleted the video taken. The mobile phone of the accused has been seized and is being investigated.
